Soccer Recap: Houghton Academy Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Houghton Academy duked it out with Genesee Valley on Thursday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Jaguars. Houghton Academy haven't had much luck with Genesee Valley recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Houghton Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Genesee Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Looking ahead, Houghton Academy will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Lima Christian at 7:00 p.m. As for Genesee Valley, they will head out to take on Wellsville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
