Basketball Recap: Dutchtown's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, Dutchtown was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Prairieville Hurricanes out 49-46. The win was some much needed relief for the Griffins as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Dutchtown's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 13-19. As for Prairieville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12.

Dutchtown has already played their next matchup (against St. Amant), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Prairieville has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Walker.
