Volleyball Recap: Hobbs Takes a Loss

Hobbs was the 3-2 winner over Carlsbad when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell 3-1 to the Cavemen/Cavegirls on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-13, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22.

Hobbs' loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-13. As for Carlsbad, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 5-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hobbs is set to take on their familiar foe Roswell at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carlsbad will challenge rival Clovis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
