Baseball Game Preview: Montville Mustangs vs. Passaic County Tech Bulldogs

The Montville Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Passaic County Tech Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Wednesday, Montville came up short against Morris Knolls and fell 5-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Golden Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Nico Companion was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Nick Del Guidice was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one double.

Meanwhile, Passaic County Tech got the win against Passaic on Wednesday by a conclusive 13-3. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by six runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Passaic County Tech and bumps their season record up to 9-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5 runs in those games. As for Montville, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
