Baseball Recap: Augusta Southeastern Comes Up Short

Augusta Southeastern managed to slip by Brown County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Suns came up short against the Hornets on Wednesday, falling 8-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Suns haven't been shut out since back in March.

Augusta Southeastern's loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Brown County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Augusta Southeastern will take on Quincy Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brown County, they will head out on the road to square off against Carrollton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hornets are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
