Softball Recap: Packinghouse Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Packinghouse Christian Academy lost against Calvary Baptist on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears came up short against the Cougars, falling 12-1. The contest marked the Bears' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Madison Hopkins made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season.

Packinghouse Christian Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Calvary Baptist, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Packinghouse Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mesa Grande Academy at 4:00 p.m. on May 6. As for Calvary Baptist, they have already played their next game, a 20-6 victory against Sherman Indian on the 29th.
