Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley has gone  a perfect 5-0 against North Clarion recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley is taking a road trip to  take on North Clarion  at 4:00  p.m. Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley will be strutting in after a  win while North Clarion will be coming in after a  defeat.
Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley took a loss when they played away from home  on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Saturday. Everything went their way against Reynolds as they made off with  a  16-1 victory. The  match marked Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley's most dominant  win of the  season so far.
 Christian Salizzoni looked comfortable as he  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.

 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Trent Fleming, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  triples, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley is undefeated when  Fleming posts two or  more  runs, but 2-3 otherwise.  Alex Walzak was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with two  stolen bases, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .467. The last time their  batting average was this high was  back in May of 2024.
 Meanwhile, North Clarion fell victim to Clarion Area and their airtight pitching crew  on Thursday. They came up short against  the Bobcats, falling  15-0. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
 Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for North Clarion, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
North Clarion's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Wednesday. Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.4  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for North Clarion, though, as  they've been averaging  only 3.4  strikeouts. Will Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley keep running through batters, or will North Clarion buck the trend?
 Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley took their  win against North Clarion  in their previous matchup  last Saturday by a conclusive  10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
