Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask A&M Consolidated). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Rudder Rangers a 22-0 shutout on Tuesday. The Tigers have beaten the Rangers the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Rangers has come to flipping the script.

A&M Consolidated's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Rudder, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as A&M Consolidated Tigers face off against Lake Creek Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Lake Creek will roll in looking for their 24th straight win, something A&M Consolidated surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rudder, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against BVCHEA HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. The Mustangs have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.67 runs per game on average), something the Rangers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
