The Union Bears will venture away from home to take on the Lee Generals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Union will be strutting in after a victory while Lee will be coming in after a loss.

Union's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Gate City.

Meanwhile, Lee didn't have quite enough to beat Unicoi County on Monday and fell 5-4.

Avery Weston was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Weston was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

In other batting news, Chloe Bledoe made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Union's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Lee, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1.
