Basketball Recap: Spartanburg Takes a Loss

Spartanburg lost against Boiling Springs back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Spartanburg Vikings took a 61-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boiling Springs Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Vikings have lost by exactly 12 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Spartanburg and nudges their season record down to 9-12. As for Boiling Springs, they moved to 11-8 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Spartanburg will challenge Dorman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Spartanburg is on a four-game streak of home wins, Dorman a seven-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Boiling Springs, they will face off against Eastside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
