DeKalb's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Kees, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. That's the most stolen bases Kees has posted since back in May of 2024.
DeKalb's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-8-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Metea Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-18.
