Basketball Recap: Whitwell Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Monday. Whitwell fell 68-56 to Rockwood. The defeat continues a trend for Whitwell in their meetings with Rockwood: they've now lost five in a row.

Rockwood got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayden Davidson out in front who posted 13 points in addition to five assists and three steals. Another player making a difference was Collin Abston, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Whitwell's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Whitwell won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hixson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockwood, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Jellico at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers will need to watch out since the Blue Devils have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
