Dimond faced Chugiak in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Lynx never let the Mustangs get on the board and left with a 20-0 victory. The Lynx might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 20 points or more this season.

The win was the fourth in a row for Dimond, bringing their record up to 8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.5 points on average over those games. As for Chugiak, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dimond will welcome Wasilla at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lynx will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31 points in their last four contests. As for Chugiak, they will face off against Bettye Davis East Anchorage at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
