Americas not only won  on Friday, but they posted their biggest win  since November 5, 2024 (when they won  3-0). They put the hurt on the Andress Eagles with a sharp  3-0 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Trail Blazers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.
 While Americas won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  second set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23,  25-21.
 Victoria Mata paced Americas' offense, picking up 12 kills. Mata got some help from  Sole' Sebree and her 17 assists. Mata also made an impact serving:  she shared the team lead in aces with  Anaisabel Orta, racking up two apiece.
Americas' win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Andress, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-5 record  this season.
 Americas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  victory against El Dorado on the 30th. Andress has also already played their next  game (against Immanuel Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
