Softball Recap: Central Falls Comes Up Short

After flying high against Paul Cuffee on Friday, Central Falls came back down to earth. The Warriors came up short against the North Smithfield Northmen on Monday, falling 20-1.

Central Falls has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

Central Falls will face off against Burrillville at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. The Broncos have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.83 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for North Smithfield, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against West Warwick at 7:00 p.m. on May 19.
