Volleyball Recap: Hinsdale Central Comes Up Short at Home Against Bolingbrook + How To Watch

Hinsdale Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bolingbrook Raiders on Tuesday. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19.

Bolingbrook's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alexis Jacob, who had six digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Jacob a new career-high.

Hinsdale Central has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Lincoln-Way East on the 27th. As for Bolingbrook, they will be taking part in a tournament against Maine South at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
