Softball Recap: Whiteland Warriors vs. Greenwood Woodmen
After losing to Greenwood the last time they met, Whiteland decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Whiteland Warriors blew past the Greenwood Woodmen 10-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Whiteland.
Whiteland got a big performance out of Madison Myers, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Felker, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and a triple.
Whiteland pushed their record up to 8-7 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Greenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
Whiteland didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 win vs. Decatur Central on the 30th. Greenwood has also already played their next game, a 12-0 loss against Mooresville on the 30th.
