Basketball Recap: Frazier Mountain Comes Up Short

Frazier Mountain lost against Boron back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Frazier Mountain Falcons were beaten by the Boron Bobcats 62-26. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Boron got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isreal Flores out in front who went 8 for 14 to rack up 18 points and three steals. Flores is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Moses Garcia was another key player, almost dropping a triple-double with ten points, 17 boards, and nine steals.

Frazier Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Boron, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Coming up, Frazier Mountain will welcome Mammoth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Frazier Mountain is facing Mammoth at the right time seeing as Mammoth is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Boron, they will host Bishop Union at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
