Basketball Game Preview: Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers vs. Lake Taylor Titans

Booker T. Washington is 1-9 against Lake Taylor since January of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers will head out on the road to take on the Lake Taylor Titans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Booker T. Washington is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They were outmatched by Maury and fell 73-23. While losing is never fun, the Mighty Bookers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 330th, while the Commodores are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Lake Taylor's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of King's Fork by a score of 51-48. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Lake Taylor's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3. As for Booker T. Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
