Game recap: Lassiter High School Football Team beats Wheeler

After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Eddie Printz to Grant Daniels in the first quarter, Lassiter (Marietta, Ga.) led 35-17 at the half.

Printz and Daniels teamed up to form a dynamic passing combination. Daniels has now caught three touchdowns this season.

Elijah Staley played well for Wheeler (Marietta, Ga.). The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns.

The Wildcats came in giving up 17.4 points per game this season. Wheeler struggled against the Trojans' offense, which entered the game scoring 38.1 points per game.



Lassiter also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 35-7.

Lassiter (8-0) will play a AAAAAA Region 5 game against Roswell next week, while Wheeler (4-4) will take on Woodstock also in a AAAAAA Region 5 game.
