Basketball Recap: Berea-Midpark Comes Up Short

Berea-Midpark lost against Olmsted Falls back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Berea-Midpark Titans received a blow as they fell 53-39 to the Olmsted Falls Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 47th).

Berea-Midpark's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Olmsted Falls, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Berea-Midpark will venture away from home to square off against Tuslaw at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. Tuslaw is on a three-game streak of home wins, Berea-Midpark a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Olmsted Falls has already played their next match (against Midview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
