Orono faced Mount Desert Island in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Riots came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 34-22. Winning may never get old, but the Riots sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Orono's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Mount Desert Island, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coming up, Orono will square off against Washington Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Riots will be up against the Raiders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Mount Desert Island, they will challenge Camden Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
