Soccer Game Preview: DSST: College View vs. The Classical Academy

The DSST: College View Wolves will square off against The Classical Academy on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

DSST: College View managed to keep up with DSST: Conservatory Green until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Wolves lost 4-1 to the Hornets. DSST: College View's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Their goal came courtesy of David Beltran-Zavala, who's now up to 13 this season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, The Classical Academy was not quite Pine Creek's equal in the second half on Friday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, The Classical Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 70th, while Pine Creek are ranked tenth).

DSST: College View's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-3. As for The Classical Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3-2.
