Guyer is 7-1-1 against Braswell since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Guyer Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Braswell Bengals at 7:30 p.m. Guyer will be strutting in after a win while Braswell will be coming in after a loss.

Guyer is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over Lewisville on Friday. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 202nd, while the Farmers are ranked 455th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Braswell came up short against Hebron on Friday and fell 4-2. That's two games in a row now that the Bengals have lost by exactly two goals.

Trevor Hill and Eduardo Lopez scored both of Braswell's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Braswell has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. The victory got Guyer back to even at 7-7-4.

Guyer skirted past Braswell 3-2 in their previous meeting back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Guyer since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
