Soccer Recap: Wheatley Comes Up Short

Wheatley was the 9-0 winner over Kashmere when they last played one another back in March of 2016, but their luck changed this time around. The Wheatley Wildcats lost 7-2 to the Kashmere Fighting Rams on Friday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Wheatley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Kashmere, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-6.

Wheatley will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Worthing at 8:00 p.m. on March 4th. As for Kashmere, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mickey Leland College Preparatory Academy for Young Men at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
