Basketball Recap: Sundance Comes Up Short at Home Against Rocky Mountain

Sundance unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Rocky Mountain Grizzlies by a score of 48-46 on Friday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grizzlies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2020.

Cole Minchow went supernova for Rocky Mountain, putting up 19 points. Tucker Jackson was another key player, posting six points and seven rebounds.

Sundance wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 43-36 victory against Greybull on the 13th. As for Rocky Mountain, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-43 loss against Wright on the 13th.
