Basketball Recap: Randolph-Macon Academy Takes a Loss

Randolph-Macon Academy has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were dealt a 51-19 loss at the hands of the Highland Hawks on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellow Jackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-27 last Friday.

Randolph-Macon Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Bijou Kebbay, who posted five points and five blocks. Dleanna Hoosain was another key player, putting up six points.

Randolph-Macon Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Highland, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Randolph-Macon Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 43-22 win against Front Royal HomeSchool on the 30th. As for Highland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 71-19 victory against Quantico on the 1st.
