Soccer Game Preview: Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy vs. Lakeville

The Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy Dragons will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Lakeville Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy's offense. They came up short against Birch Run on Wednesday, falling 9-0. The shutout was out of character for Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Meanwhile, Lakeville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-0 to Birch Run. That's two games in a row now that Lakeville have lost by exactly eight goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Lakeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1.
