Ashland waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. Everything went their way against the Millis Mohawks as they made off with a 6-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Clockers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Jared Grunbaum made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

In other batting news, Chris Bratica was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Cowern Aiden also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Ashland was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .375. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Millis only posted a batting average of .130.

Ashland now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Millis, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Ashland has already played their next game, a 9-0 loss against Westwood on the 8th. As for Millis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 7-5 victory against Norton on the 8th.
