Basketball Recap: Neighborhood House Charter Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wayland, Neighborhood House Charter was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 55-54 photo finish over Foxborough Regional Charter. This was payback for the Legends, who suffered a 71-65 loss the last time these two teams met.

Gionni Centeio was a one-man wrecking crew for Neighborhood House Charter as he posted 23 points. The dominant performance gave Centeio a new career-high in points. Jayden Docanto was another key player, putting up 15 points.

The win snapped Neighborhood House Charter's losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-7 record. As for Foxborough Regional Charter, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Neighborhood House Charter will challenge Codman Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Foxborough Regional Charter, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Excel Academy Charter at 4:00 p.m. on February 5th.
