Baseball Recap: Shenandoah Zeps vs. Buckeye Trail Warriors
Shenandoah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Buckeye Trail Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Saturday.
Brody Brown made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Dakoda Rich was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
Shenandoah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Buckeye Trail, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.
