Basketball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty was the 42-38 winner over Robert C. Byrd when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Liberty Mountaineers received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 67-49 to the Robert C. Byrd Eagles. The Mountaineers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Robert C. Byrd, their victory bumped their record up to 13-6.

Looking ahead, Liberty and Lewis County will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played. Robert C. Byrd does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
