Soccer Recap: Northern Potter Gets the Win

Northern Potter hadn't done well against Galeton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Panthers never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. Northern Potter have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Galeton, too.

Jon Crawford and Owen Daniels scored both of Northern Potter's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

The win got Northern Potter back to even at 4-4-3. As for Galeton, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 5-8 record.

Northern Potter has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against North Penn-Liberty on the 2nd. As for Galeton, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 defeat against Wellsboro on the 1st.
