Volleyball Game Preview: Sonoraville Phoenix vs. Franklin County Lions + Official Tickets

The Sonoraville Phoenix will venture away from home to face off against the Franklin County Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Sonoraville is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Burke County as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Phoenix not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since October 15, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Sonoraville was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Franklin County entered their tilt with Pierce County on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bears.

Franklin County walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-10, 25-21, 25-17.

Franklin County's win bumped their record up to 26-14. As for Sonoraville, their victory bumped their record up to 33-18.
