Football Game Preview: Eunice Bobcats vs. DeRidder Dragons + How To Watch

Eunice is preparing for their first district matchup of the season on Friday. They will take on the DeRidder Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Eunice will be strutting in after a win while DeRidder will be coming in after a defeat.

Eunice took a 23-point loss the last time they faced off against Welsh, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bobcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Greyhounds 32-29. The Bobcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, DeRidder ended up a good deal behind Jennings on Thursday and lost 37-21. The Dragons have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Although DeRidder took the loss, they still got scores from Jayden Merriwether, John Lesaux, and Jaiden Cooper.

Eunice moved to 2-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for DeRidder, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Eunice might still be hurting after the 35-13 defeat they got from DeRidder when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
