Recap: Buford Yellowjackets vs. Chesterfield Golden Rams
The Buford Yellowjackets lost against the Chesterfield Golden Rams back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Buford was beaten by Chesterfield 47-20. Buford was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.
Chesterfield was led to victory by Trinity Turnage and Kierra Diggs. Turnage scored 14 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Diggs scored 16 points along with six rebounds and five steals. The match was Diggs' seventh in a row with at least ten points. Terrahjah Robinson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Buford's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Chesterfield, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.
Buford will be home for the holidays to greet Cheraw at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chesterfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Andrew Jackson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
