Dynamic duo of Noah Gloor and Donovan Dabney lead Higley to victory

Recap: Higley Knights vs. Casteel Colts

The Higley Knights waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Casteel 71-45. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Higley has managed all season.

Higley was led to victory by Noah Gloor and Donovan Dabney. Gloor scored 20 points along with eight assists and six rebounds, while Dabney scored 23 points along with six rebounds. Dabney is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Luke Haugo, who scored 13 points.

Higley's win bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Casteel, their loss dropped their record down to 16-4.

Higley won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Williams Field at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Williams Field is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Casteel will take on Campo Verde at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Campo Verde will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while Casteel is ranked 16th).
