Woodland Regional had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Ansonia Chargers with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in September.

Nora Nemec paced Woodland Regional's offense, picking up ten kills. Nemec got some help from Hannah Mishler and her 21 assists. Ayla DeCrescenzo controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Woodland Regional has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season. As for Ansonia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.
