Basketball Game Preview: Florence/Henry Falcons vs. Arlington Cardinals

The Florence/Henry Falcons will take on the Arlington Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Florence/Henry is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Howard just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 54-44 to the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Arlington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 59-42 bruising from Ortonville. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cardinals came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 133rd in South Dakota, while the Trojans are ranked 388th in Minnesota).

Florence/Henry's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Arlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Florence/Henry was able to grind out a solid victory over Arlington in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 66-55. Does Florence/Henry have another victory up their sleeve, or will Arlington turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
