Volleyball Recap: Waukesha Christian Academy Falls to Wisconsin School for the Deaf in First Game of Season

Waukesha Christian Academy had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 3-1 to the Wisconsin School for the Deaf Firebirds. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Firebirds: they've now lost four in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 24-26, 25-18.

The win got Wisconsin School for the Deaf back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Wisconsin School for the Deaf will head out to square off against Early View Academy of Excellence at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waukesha Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to the Firebirds' matchup: after the Firebirds face off against Oakhill Christian, they'll take on Waukesha Christian Academy again at 4:30 p.m. on October 7.
