Basketball Recap: Fort Atkinson Takes a Loss

Fort Atkinson lost against Oregon back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Fort Atkinson Blackhawks came up short against the Oregon Panthers, falling 83-61. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the Panthers are ranked 22nd).

Fort Atkinson's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Oregon, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.

Coming up, Fort Atkinson will head out to face off against Watertown at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oregon, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Panthers face off against the Cardinals at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
