Baseball Recap: Breathitt County Comes Up Short

Breathitt County managed to slip by Powell County the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bobcats lost 9-1 to the Pirates on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Bobcats have suffered since April 18th.

Aiden Combs was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. Another player making a difference was Miles Hollon, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Breathitt County's defeat dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Powell County, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-16.

As of now, neither Breathitt County nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
