Volleyball Recap: Sylmar Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Reseda, Sylmar was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Canoga Park Hunters. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in August.

Sylmar walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 24-26, 25-11, 25-20.

Sylmar pushed their record up to 14-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Canoga Park, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sylmar will face off against rival Panorama at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Canoga Park is set to square off against their familiar foe Reseda at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
