Softball Recap: Surry Central Comes Up Short

Surry Central had taken North Surry down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles fell 8-4 to the Greyhounds. The Golden Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Surry Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaycee Dalton, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4.

Surry Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for North Surry, they moved to 7-6 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Surry Central wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-5 victory against East Surry on the 9th. As for North Surry, they will be playing at home against North Wilkes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
