Game recap: Metea Valley High School Football Team defeats Bartlett

BARTLETT, Ill. - Metea Valley (Aurora, Ill.) upset No. 203 Bartlett (Ill.) 20-6 on Saturday.

The score was knotted at zero heading into the half. The Mustangs took the lead indefinitely on a touchdown in the third quarter.

Bartlett's only touchdown came on a 5-yard run by Matthew Callahan in the third quarter.

The victory was a completely different match up compared to last season's game between these two teams, which the Hawks took, 42-0.



The loss comes after Bartlett defeated East 40-6 last week.

Bartlett (1-3) goes up against Waubonsie Valley in a Upstate Eight - Valley game matchup next week, while Metea Valley (2-2) locks horns with South Elgin also in a Upstate Eight - Valley game.
