Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines vs. Bryan County Redskins
With a playoff game on the line, the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines rose to the challenge on Friday. They breezed by the Redskins at home to the tune of 49-14. Considering Prince Avenue Christian has won 12 matches by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
It was another big night for Aaron Philo, who threw for 490 yards and four touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing scores. Hudson Hill was another key contributor, picking up 168 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
When it comes to explaining why Bryan County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Austin Clemons. Despite the final result, he rushed for 143 yards.
Prince Avenue Christian pushed their record up to 13-1 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 29.29 points. As for Bryan County, their loss dropped their record down to 12-2.
