Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 62-29 loss at the hands of the Meridian Mustangs. The matchup marked the Gryphons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Meridian, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian will welcome Georgetown Day at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Meridian, they will challenge Fauquier at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
