Basketball Recap: Beebe Comes Up Short

Beebe blew Sylvan Hills out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Sylvan Hills got their revenge. The Badgers fell just short of the Bears by a score of 40-38. The Badgers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Beebe's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Sylvan Hills, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-3.

Coming up, Beebe will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Mount St. Mary Academy at 6:00 p.m. The Badgers will be up against the Belles' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.64 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Sylvan Hills, they will head out on the road to square off against Greenbrier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
