Soccer Recap: Albia Comes Up Short

Albia lost against Ottumwa back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Demons fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that Albia have lost by just one goal.

Albia now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Ottumwa, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Albia has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Colfax-Mingo on the 8th. As for Ottumwa, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 6-3 win against Des Moines East on the 8th.
