Creekview is a perfect 10-0 against Newman Smith since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. Creekview will welcome Newman Smith at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Sophia Caballero and MacKenzie Martin did some serious damage despite the final result: Caballero scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Martin went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double. What's more, Caballero posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Kaelani Rogers, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Newman Smith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 29th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Highland Park, falling 15-0.

Creekview's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Newman Smith, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.

Newman Smith's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Creekview has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .438. It's a different story for Newman Smith, though, as they've only averaged .248. Will they be able to contain Creekview's hitters?

Creekview took their victory against Newman Smith in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 19-2. Will Creekview repeat their success, or does Newman Smith has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
